LMH Health faced a significant challenge with their Cancer Center, which had outgrown its space and was operating with outdated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

5By5 Engineers has played a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of various facilities at LMH Health, showcasing a robust partnership grounded in innovation, efficiency, and excellence.

LMH Health sought MEP systems for a new USP 797-compliant pharmacy. This included integrating a new dedicated AHU specifically for the compounding pharmacy.

LMH Health engaged 5BY5 Engineers in replacing their existing AHU-7 with 2 units that can back-feed one another in the event of failure or maintenance shutdowns.

This new outpatient facility is developed to establish a presence on the west side of Lawrence Kansas and allows for the continued growth of Ortho Surgery as well as many other departments.

Much like most hospitals in the country, LMH Health faced major challenges in preparing for the pandemic surge considering the COVID-19 spread across the country. 5BY5 Engineers was asked to help in this response.
